NKU Installment Plan

The University offers you a 50/25/25 payment option. If tuition is not paid in full by the original tuition due date, you will automatically be placed in to the payment plan option and charged the payment plan fee of $50.00. Your account will also be charged a 1.25% account maintenance fee at the end of each month. 50% of the full balance is due by the original tuition due date. 25% of the original balance is due approximately thirty days later and the final 25% is due approximately 60 days after the original tuition due date. If the initial payment (50%) is not made, then you are subject to the university's cancellation for non-payment policy. Your account must be paid in full by the close of business on that final payment due date. Registration and Transcript holds are put on all accounts with a balance after the initial due date.

You will receive account statements in your NKU email each month detailing your account activity. You are encouraged to monitor and pay your account online thru myNKU. You will receive Past Due Notices. However, if you utilize this payment schedule described above, you will avoid class cancellation and reduce maintenance fee assessments.
